Student of the Month, Jennifer Cox

I had a wonderful opportunity of going to China through the People to People Ambassador Program. We went to many different places such as the Terracotta Warriors Pit, the pearl factory, and the Forbidden City. What I had been waiting for the most was climbing the Great Wall of China. The view was Amazing! It was difficult to climb up the wall since it was very steep and there were lots of stairs. My favorite part was going to the Ladies’ Market in Hong Kong, a huge mall just for women. I did a lot of shopping. The part of the trip that I will never forget, though, is when I got to stay with a Chinese family. This is what you do not have the privilege to do as a regular tourist. I had lots of fun learning how they cook, play traditional Chinese games with the children, and learn about Chinese customs.  I will never forget my wonderful experience in China!
